SSJ Mission Corps

"One Year to Change A Life"

The SSJ Mission Corps program is a year long (11 months- from August to June) volunteer program in the city of Philadelphia. Volunteers are invited to open themselves to God's transforming power, as they work for justice and reach out to meet the needs of their "dear neighbors"; growing to understand the deeper meaning of "One Year to Change a Life." 

The SSJ Mission Corps is for women, ages 21-35, looking to dedicate a year of their life to working for the mission of the Gospel and the Sisters of Saint Joseph in our world.

Simple Living


 

The corps members will serve in a variety of ministries including:

Education
Advocacy
Social Services
Community Organizing
Parish Ministry
