Our mission flows from the purpose our Congregation exists—We live and work so that all people may be united with God and with one another.
Liberated by God’s Spirit and attentive to the urgent needs of Earth and the global community, we commit to being joyful, courageous witnesses to the Gospel imperative of active, inclusive love.
Our mission of unioning love is as essential today as it was for the sisters before us in 17th-century war-ravaged France. Like them, we circle the city to find the needs of the day and address them. Prayer, education, social services, pastoral care, spiritual direction and social justice advocacy are among the many ways we love and serve the dear neighbor, without distinction.
Love of the Dear Neighbor without distinction means that we see as God sees and love as God loves. God loves all people, and so do we. We live and act out of that love.
