A key member of the Finance Office team, the Assistant Controller is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the general ledger as well as assisting with the development of financial reporting, planning and budgeting systems.
Coordinator of Sponsorship
Appointed by the General Council, and reporting to the Director of Sponsorship, the Sponsorship Coordinator provides leadership in promoting, strengthening, and integrating the Mission, Values, and Principles for Sponsorship within the sponsored ministries of the Sisters of Saint Joseph. In collaboration with and under the direction of the Director, the Coordinator holds responsibility for oversight of the ministries which the Congregation sponsors with particular attention to the civil issues related to governance, leadership, quality, and sustainability. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and collaborative skills, ability to build consensus, and experience in nonprofit governance. Experience working with nonprofit boards and in strategic planning is highly desirable.
Director, Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation
The Director, Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation will create, inspire, promote, and invigorate the Congregation’s activities in the work of instilling justice, peace and the integrity of all creation. The Director serves as justice liaison with the General Council and, in accordance with the Congregational mission, leads and directs all activities of the SSJ Office for Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation.
House Administrator, SSJ Center for Spirituality
The House Administrator, as a vital team member, serves the mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph by collaboratively overseeing the Center for Spirituality, Ocean Grove, NJ. The Administrator will work with the Program Director and team members, fulfilling duties and responsibilities as listed below. The person in this full-time, year-round position reports to the Sponsorship Coordinator.
